Earbud Case and Rocket Design
An earbud case design was created with the use of the program AutoCAD. The design was then imported into 3D Studio where the dark blue shape was lofted around the cerulean triangle to create the case shown in pink.
A rocket design was also made in AutoCAD and then imported in 3D Studio. The yellow shape on the bottom left was lathed to create the three dimensional tube insert, a piece of the final rocket design.
The rocket fin design is featured on the left. Three fins were then cut out on thick paper using the laser engraver, which can be seen in the video on the right. The final rocket launch can be viewed below on the right, and my group can be seen on the left: myself, Jaia, and Caitlin.
